Overview
Sword of Legends is an ongoing project with fellow GM user Troy Thompson that was originally started in 2006, but remained inactive for most of that time. We decided to pick the project back up again at the beginning of 2009 and it has now become one of my most developed projects yet. Troy is programming this game with Game Maker and I am doing the art and design, while the original soundtrack is being produced by David Newton. This is a zero-budget project that is driven only by our passion for working on it.
The goal of this project isn't to break any new ground with revolutionary concepts in gaming, but to rekindle the traditional model of what gaming once was and what it can still be. Sword of Legends is a throw-back to the great classics that many gamers grew up enjoying, and will continue to enjoy as long as this genre is kept alive.

Progress and Status
As of September 1st, 2009, this project has been put on hold. Virtually all of the features have been implemented in the current build and at this stage the only thing needed is content. Due to personal matters, Troy is unable to continue this project at the moment, so its continuation and completion is indefinite for the time being. In spite of this, I still plan to submit Sword of Legends into the main competition for IGF 2010.
